Telegram account and conversations

You sign in with your own Telegram account. TDLib communicates with Telegram to process sign-in information, messages, photos, videos, files, voice recordings and other conversation actions you submit. Recipients and bots may receive information you choose to send. TG Pocket does not operate a separate messaging server.

Telegram may receive technical information through TDLib, including your device model, operating-system and app versions, language and connection IP address. Telegram’s handling of this information is described in the Telegram Privacy Policy.

Calls exchange audio, video and connection information with the participants and Telegram’s call infrastructure. One-to-one calls may use a direct peer-to-peer connection when Telegram settings allow it; the other participant can then see your connection IP address. TG Pocket does not operate its own call relay.

Information stored on your device

The app stores account information, the TDLib message database and media cache on your device, along with preferences such as language, search, playback and window selections. Sharing into TG Pocket uses the same signed-in accounts and app-lock settings as the main app. Local records used for sharing and widgets are shared between TG Pocket and its extensions on this device. Derived app-lock records are stored in the device Keychain. Face ID or device authentication is handled by iOS; the app does not receive your biometric templates.

When you choose Send in the share view, TG Pocket submits the items you chose and any comment to the selected conversations. Photo, video and file attachments are copied to local media storage and may remain while needed for sending and caching.

The app may keep local diagnostic logs. It includes no analytics or crash-reporting SDK that automatically uploads those logs.

Permissions and actions you choose

Photo-library, microphone, camera and location permissions support the corresponding actions you choose. Photo and media selection support sending content. When you choose Save to Photos for an eligible message, the app requests permission only to add the selected photo or video to your library; recording and capture support messages, Stories and audio or video calls. Location and contact information are provided to the selected conversation or third-party service when you initiate and confirm the action. You can manage system permissions in iOS Settings. Refusing a permission limits the related feature.

Widgets, system search and voice features

Widgets may display account and conversation names, unread information and previews allowed by your privacy settings. Spotlight and people suggestions use conversation or contact names and identifiers for opening them; message bodies, attachments and Secret Chats are not included in those indexes.

If you use Siri, Shortcuts or CarPlay, iOS services handle your selected conversation or recipient, your instruction or dictated message and any recent unread content returned for you to hear or view. Sending or explicitly marking messages as read uses system confirmation; a query alone does not mark messages as read. CarPlay may display conversation names, unread information and audio playback information. Apple’s handling of information for these services follows its privacy policy linked below.

In-app media, account controls and deletion

Media is cached for in-app viewing and playback. You can save eligible ordinary message photos and videos to Photos, and save media files, including animations, documents, audio and voice recordings, to Files or share them through iOS. The app follows Telegram’s saving and access restrictions. Temporary export copies are kept until the system finishes or cancels the operation. Files saved or shared outside TG Pocket are managed by you and the destination app or service under its policies; clearing the cache, deleting a Telegram message or signing out does not delete those copies. TG Pocket does not offer batch downloads or third-party media URL extraction. Saved Messages is a Telegram cloud conversation, not a device download folder.

Account, message, session and cache controls are available through the app and Telegram features. Clearing the local cache does not delete Telegram cloud messages. Signing out does not delete your Telegram account or all cloud messages; some device preferences and app-lock records may remain. We cannot remotely erase information stored only on your device or held by Telegram.

Bots, Mini Apps and other third parties

Bots, Mini Apps and web pages you open are operated by third parties. Their pages, resources and checkout services may receive connection information, launch data and information you confirm sharing, under their own privacy policies. Mini Apps use an account-isolated, nonpersistent WebKit session; this does not prevent third-party servers from processing information they already received.

TG Pocket does not sell Stars or Premium or store payment credentials. Permitted physical-goods or services payment details are handled by the relevant provider. The app has no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDK of its own; Telegram may still show sponsored messages in channels.

Apple may process information for App Store distribution and iOS services under its Privacy Policy. Visiting this website, including its access logs and analytics, is covered by the separate Website and Browser Extension Privacy Policy.

Support, privacy requests and reports

You may contact us through TG Pocket Support or [email protected]. We use the contact information and problem details you choose to provide to handle your feedback. To request access, correction or deletion of those feedback records, contact the same address. Do not send sign-in codes, two-step verification passwords, API credentials, payment details or unrelated private conversations.

Use Report in an eligible Telegram message menu or chat profile to report inappropriate content to Telegram. Use Block on a user’s profile to stop unwanted contact. For issues involving TG Pocket itself, use the support channel above.

Security, age requirements and changes

The app uses iOS app storage and TDLib’s encrypted communication with Telegram. This does not mean that all Telegram conversations use end-to-end encryption. Protect your device and account, and review active Telegram sessions if your device is lost or shared.

You must meet Telegram’s applicable minimum age and local requirements. This policy will be updated when the app or its data practices change. Telegram’s own account and privacy controls are described in the Telegram Privacy Policy.
